Palmetto Cash 5 Information
Palmetto Cash 5 is a daily draw game offered by the South Carolina Education Lottery. Drawings are held every night at approximately 6:59 PM ET. Players select five numbers from a field of 1 to 39. Matching all five numbers wins the jackpot. If no one matches all five numbers, the jackpot rolls over to the next drawing.
How to Play
- Purchase a Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for $1.
- Choose five numbers between 1 and 39, or select the "Quick Pick" option to have the lottery terminal randomly generate your numbers.
- Check your ticket carefully to ensure the numbers are correct.
- Drawings are held daily at approximately 6:59 PM ET.
- Match all five numbers to win the jackpot. Smaller prizes are awarded for matching fewer numbers.
- Winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.
Prizes and Odds
The amount of the jackpot varies based on ticket sales and rollovers. Besides the jackpot, there are fixed prizes for matching fewer numbers:
- Match 4 of 5: $500
- Match 3 of 5: $10
- Match 2 of 5: $1
The overall odds of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 7.6.
Additional Options
Players may purchase tickets for multiple consecutive draws, allowing them to play the same numbers for several days or weeks.
