Lotto Texas Overview
Lotto Texas is a flagship lottery game offered by the Texas Lottery Commission. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday. Players select six numbers from a field of 1 to 54. Matching all six numbers wins the jackpot.
How to Play
- Purchase a Lotto Texas ticket for $1.00.
- Choose six numbers between 1 and 54. You can select your own numbers or opt for a 'Quick Pick' where the numbers are randomly generated by the lottery terminal.
- Mark your selections on the playslip or tell the retailer you want a Quick Pick.
- Present your playslip to the retailer to receive your ticket.
- Check your ticket carefully to ensure the numbers are correct.
- Watch the drawing on Wednesday and Saturday nights to see if your numbers match.
Drawing Details
Lotto Texas drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 10:12 PM CT. The winning numbers are selected using a mechanical ball drawing machine.
Claiming Prizes
Prizes can be claimed at authorized Texas Lottery retailers for lower prize amounts. Larger prizes, including the jackpot, must be claimed at a Texas Lottery claim center. You must claim your prize within 180 days of the draw date.
